Nazmi Zaini is the Managing Partner who heads the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. Nazmi graduated with Bachelor of Laws from National University of Malaysia and Master of Commercial Law from University of Malaya.

In 2020, Nazmi founded Nazmi Zaini Chambers to deliver bespoke legal and practical solutions to small and medium enterprises, public listed corporations and high net-worth individuals. Licensed to practice as a corporate secretary, Nazmi has substantial experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, having advised clients in cross-border acquisitions and takeovers, particularly from Labuan, Hong Kong and Malta jurisdictions. Aside from that, Nazmi has had experiences advising on matters concerning on digital assets and acquisition of assets and businesses in several industries such as fintech, hospitalities and tourism, healthcare and real estate.

Nazmi has been personally recognised by IFLR1000, Asian Legal Business and asialaw for his work amongst others in Fintech, Corporate and M&A and Banking & Finance.
