Kevin Richard Nathan graduated with Bachelor of Laws from Multimedia University and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2017. Before joining Nazmi Zaini Chambers, Kevin was practising with Zul Rafique & Partners and Shearn Delamore & Co. in Project, Infrastructure & Construction.

Aside from being heavily involved in drafting, advising and negotiating on Construction & Engineering related contracts, Kevin is also familiar with other commercial and corporate agreement such as shareholders’ agreement, share subscription agreement and acquisition and disposal of high value assets.

On dispute resolution front, Kevin regularly advises clients on, amongst others, adjudication proceedings commenced pursuant to the Construction Industry Payment & Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA 2012) as well as claims brought via arbitration and the civil courts.

Kevin also brings several years of experience and expertise as an in-house counsel for the Retirement Fund Incorporated (Kumpulan Wang Persaraan), commonly known as KWAP.

Recently, Kevin was recognised as a Rising Star Partner in Project Development: Energy by IFLR1000. In addition to his legal practice, Kevin is an HRD Corp Certified Trainer and is qualified to conduct in-house training sessions for organisations on legal and regulatory matters.
