Our Firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice comprised of our Managing Partner, Nazmi Zaini and supported by Associate, Maryam Amilah Zaini has acted for a private healthcare operator in its disposal of two business operations together with its assets located in Kedah for a total purchase consideration of RM 11 million.
Our scope of work includes reviewing the transactional document and advisory on the regulatory compliance required pursuant to the applicable laws and regulations. In this transaction, we also leveraged our one stop centre’s capability through preparation of relevant corporate secretarial resolutions required for the disposal.
Throughout our establishment, we have acted for general practitioners in set up of healthcare facilities including advising on their compliance with the Private Medical Practice Control Section, MOH. This engagement underscores the Firm’s growing reputation in handling complex business disposals particularly within the Malaysian healthcare sector.
