Empowering Islamic Fintech: Advising on Registration of a New P2P Financing Platform

Our Head of Advisory & Compliance, Fakhrul Fadzilah and Associate, Husna Shariff together with Financial Services & M&A Senior Associate, Aryn Rozali, and Associate, Maryam Amilah, have advised and assisted a new Islamic Peer-to-Peer (“P2P”) financing platform operator in its application to the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) for registration as a Recognised Market Operator.

We are pleased to have supported the company in preparing the necessary documentation, including its policies and procedures, platform terms of use and notices, agreements between the platform and its users, and other key documents required for the application.

The platform is designed to create a comprehensive ecosystem that connects businesses and investors while adhering to the principles of Islamic finance.

This engagement underscores our capabilities in supporting the growth of Malaysia’s alternative financing landscape.
